Originally posted by robert0326Well.. we don't need too many smc players in gilas.. we only need junmar, Perez, japeth and cstand to the gilas pool.. the rest no need na.. and chot knows politics in philippine basketball.. kaya I'm not surprise if he will make his gilas comeback in the future.. but Sana Naman today until 2023, Kay coach tab muna.. Wala muna galawan..
I don't have confidence in Chot Reyes as Gilas coach. I think Chot has already lost his magic. I'll stick with Tab Baldwin as Gilas de facto head coach"A king may move a man, a father may claim a son, but that man can also move himself, and only then does that man truly begin his own game. Remember that howsoever you are played or by whom, your soul is in your keeping alone, even though those who presume to play you be kings or men of power, when you stand before God, you cannot say, 'But I was told by others to do thus,' or that virtue was not convenient at the time. This will not suffice." - King Baldwin IV

Yeah. For all we know, Chot is no longer a good PBA coach. A lot has changed since his days in the PBA. Magnolia is different from CTC's days, while SMB and Ginebra are on a whole new level. Phoenix is also a strong team with international playing style. Heck, even NLEX and Meralco are contenders. I do think Chot is in a very difficult situation now.

SMC hates Chot Reyes
But who knows sbp mvp may have forgiven Pogi..To becomes Asia's Best, we need to compete against the World's Best..
1 Big 4 small > 5 out offense.

TNT re-signs Chris Javier: https://www.spin.ph/basketball/pba/j...-a793-20210214
Probably another trade asset.

I'm sure we won't be seeing trades like TNT acquiring a CStand in exchange of Ryan Reyes, Samboy De Leon & JJ Alejandro. Or TNT acquiring Vic Manuel while giving up Almond Vosotros & Jay Washington"A king may move a man, a father may claim a son, but that man can also move himself, and only then does that man truly begin his own game.
