Nah! They have a superstar in Gary David and potential superstars in JV Casio and Marcio Lassiter. Whereas in Barako Bull with oldies Miller and Seigle and in Shopinas loaded with Greenchargers este Archers.

He made miracles in air21 when he had the right tools. Maybe he will make one too.

however guards more so the traditional point guard has not much roles in a Triangle Offense. The Flying A, the Thriller and Showtime L.A. are actually magnificent scorers which are a right fit in the triangle of Coach Tim Cone.

Jonas Villanueva is a case wherein he is good but might not fit. Being structured and not much imagination in setting plays, like in Gilas, Mark Barroca might not fit the need of Tim Cone.

But PJ Simon, Roger Tap and Josh Urbiztondo could adapt very well in the way Coach Tim wants things done.

I've always liked the kid. After all he was one of my better student in the Law of Mass Media course (Communication 120) that I used to teach in UP College of Mass Communication. I gave him a grade of 1.75 on merit.

I was so happy when he led Air 21 to the PBA Finals against Ginebra. Only a perceptive fellow like Dolriech Perasol can quip that its like his team versus the entire Philippines. (Not true, I rooted for Air 21 in that Finals, so it can't be the entire Philippines).

                          • Borboran potentially to move to Shopinas in exchange for a 2nd round pick. Possible support for Espiritu with Jazul and Ritualo at the backcourt, and Sison and Ilad up front as the starting line-up?

Sison, popularly considered "weak and soft," is getting intensive coaching focus from Yturri. Despite unfavorable sentiments from former collegiate mentor Allan Gregorio, Pumaren seems to see a huge potential in him. Sison is showing much promise in tune up matches, muscling it with the likes of Yancy in the post.

On the other hand, the reason Pumaren did not pursue former ward Allado for his new team, is that the guy is already past his prime...leaves one to wonder if there is a deeper underlying reason.
