He's been criticizing SMC teams for lopsided trades and working around the salary cap. Now, he's joining them.

I'm very much hopeful that Cone can weave his MAGIC in the Bmeg team, just like what the former HC of Purefoods Virgilio "Baby" Dalupan done by winning the 1st championship of the franchise...and became the winningest coach in the history of the PBA!

if you come to think of it, it's a marketing move. Ginebra San Miguel products have celebrity endorsers like Manny and Anne. They do the talking for the products. For BMEG and Petron, they don't have that much of high profile endorsers and they need to make a name in the PBA so that the brand name will be noticed. but i may be wrong

Good for you. Ginebra tends to overachieve every single time anyway so i guess the crowd will just be your superstar.

With their new acquisitions like Casio, Lassiter, Kramer, Vandalingham... im sure Powerade is a better team compared last season
