PBA is like a joke which is not funny. That is why other Asian basketball league is much better this days than PBA. Very few teams, height limit to imports, cheat trades and 2 - 3 farm teams.

Well.. TNT get Parks by loosing Trollano and Semerad, Perez and Parks are equal value.. If Kume wants to have some balls, Put some SMB marquee players to the trade.. Lassiter and Trollano are equal value.. Put Lassiter in place of Alolino then i will consider that trade...

LOL. So Marcial "supposedly" has placed the fate of this trade to a 5 man committee?? Lol. Who the heck are they fooling. YES that trade will still push through. Any amendments that this committee will enforce will only be so minor and laughable. Di na kayo nadala.

I mean sure lets be thankful that there is a PBA that provides livelihood to the players, coaches, team staff and league officials...but seriously if you guys are expecting a fair, balanced and competitive professional basketball league...you guys are seriously deluded and fooling yourselves.

TNT lost a lot by sending out those 2. They are tall tough wings who can shoot and defend imports. They were key players in TNT's rotation. Ito na lang if you were TNT would you trade those 2 for Alolino, MGR and Escoto?

Its laughable that the worst team in the league would trade one of the best player in the league who never publicly requested for a trade by the way for 3 failed experiments and pick. You know they're not in it to compete.

Romeo for CJ is fair. Kraken for cj and picks is fair. Obviously you need fillers for those but that shoukd be core of the deal. I wouldnt even do a pringle for cj simply because of age. If the league approves star to nonstar, then smb should give up a starter and next 2 guys that comes out the bench plus the pick. Core player naman.

Yup. Absolutely agree. Lassiter is still better and has more value than Trollano even tho there is somewhat an age diff between the two.

It could have been fair if its a Terrence Romeo or Tautua with draft pick. Lassiter, Santos, or Cabagnot are not equal to CJ, since they are already pass there prime.

3-5 years ago, Lassiter has a high value.. But now isn't!!! Lassiter is injured prone in last 2 years while Trollano playing a great playing careers in past 2 seasons.. Actually, he's the top scorer for their Blackwater franchise now..

Agree with this. Trollano may not be as popular as Lassiter but he has been consistently trending up. In analyzing trade values, age and potential should also be considered. While Lassiter may arguablt be the better player, he is also 4 years older than Trollano. Trollano is in his prime while Lassiter is slowly trending downwards.

The only first round draft pick that Terrafirma did NOT trade was Manny Pacquiao. Lol all others have been traded (except Adams who only recently became eligible to be traded):

Yeah, if you're gonna trade, take at least role players and a crap-ton of picks, not just this one. You'll have to take at least 3 first-rounders.

Those players would now get enough PT to develop as would the FRP. Kots Leo likes to keep a small rotation anyway. They could always trade for a big or get a big import. Anyway with this trade we probably won't be seeing JF in a GILAS uniform.

Or sign an unrestricted FA. However, the only notable unrestricted FA big this year is Rodney Brondial.

Speaking of, why did they trade MGR, who's now eligible to become an unrestricted FA? You don't trade unrestricted FA's, as they're not in the roster anymore.
