Pogoy is better than Belo. He is the ultimate 3-and-D in the PBA and in the Philippine right now. With his floater, he can score against anyone's closeout. Defensively, he is an awesome team defender.

Arvin Tolentino could be that guy, stands 6-5, good handles for a 4 and in fact better shooter thab JDV...

he's definitely among the frontrunners to takeover along with art dela cruz and hopefully, jared dillinger. All of them however does not provide that additional value of playing small ball 5. JDV is really a unique player, cant blame CTC from taking a liking to him. Currently, i can only think of one guy in the pba who has enough versatility to fill his role--Ian Sangalang.

Pogoy at least is available to play most of the time even though he's less talented. What I don't like about him is that he thinks he's better than he really is instead of just sticking to what he does best. And his antics really hurts his team

This. He takes James Yap shots even though he's most effective when taking set shots. He should learn to pass when it's not his shot. Honestly he's a very good role player only. Even his D is overrated.

Pba version of lonzo ball.

Pogoy is a solid role player but I dont think he is a gilas caliber player. The. Only reason he is in gilas is because he is one of the main man in talk n text.

I hope this game silenced pogoy’s haters even for a bit. Without the antics, pogoy is a decent 3 and d option for gilas. hustles hard, plays defense, knows the playbook. Can shoot as well.

Pogoy plays hard every game, my only problem with him is his inconsistent 3s specially in fiba. but overall he deserve his spot.

Offensively he played well, his hustle was contagious... His defense was iffy though, minus the allowed physicality, Prastawa and Grahita were anle to run rings around him...
