This is just me but I don’t think Slaughter would be traded to a non-SMC team. With the abundance of quality wings on the horizon (Paras, Ravena, Oftana, Ramos among others) and not so near future (Ildefonso, Abando, Kwekuteye), I think SMC can afford to miss out on Parks if it means giving Slaughter up.

Ginebra wants a grandslam NOW. They will not wait for future draftees that is also dangerously be considered in special draft, and they cannit use right away.


So Ginebra is trading slaughter to get parks or cstand. Or maybe ginebra can get both. There are no impossible trades for SMC. They even manage to get Cstand by just giving tubid and mccarthy. Lol

Toronto GM also needed to trade for Marc Gasol for veteran experience.

Some will consider LOWRY,KAWHI/SIAKAM as big three. Danny Green and Marc gasol are solid role players.

SMC is just waiting for those blue chips to enter the draft you mentioned the likes of Paras, Thirdy, Malonzo & those Fil-fors, It's impossible they would get near the top 3 picks unless they tank, Slaughter might be good trade bait to a lowly team to get that Top pick and draft the next PBA superstar.

Unfortunately, the mishap happened days before the 31-year-old guard was supposed to sign a new, two-year contract with Rain or Shine.

Very easy to do for SMC.

Gunebra have a very low pick yearly anyway. Their draft pick is worthless.

These trades will ne very good to ginebra. It will make room for rookies to enter the roster. While acuiring future franchise players

I feel an Ginebra Dynasty. If only ginebra get junmar for Greg. They will be a dynasty.

My guess would be probably

1. Parks might be SMC-bound considering he was very vocal on playing for Ginebra.

2. C-Stand maybe MVP Group-bound. Since he is Gilas regular NP in the absence of a Blatch replacement.

3. Slaughter has said many times he does not want to play for the MVP group since being kicked out of his housing for refusing a request to delay his PBA entry.

What for.... Playing a half hearted Parks would lead just to losses... A Parks Greg/Tolentino trade would bd ok already for TNT.
