“Dopehead” uses an over the counter preworkout and besides that issue has a clean record.
“Party goer” goes out after a won game who more than likely has the day off tomorrow.
What happened to them could have happened to anyone and youre taking it against them and their character.
As harsh as it may seem. I only give my opinion what I see from the news and what I hear from people behind the scenes.

We have no idea how long he has been drinking that "drink". I dont buy it that it was incidental he ingested it. The party-goers could have easily walked away from the insults of the other party. Instead they engaged them verbally which resulted in a scuffle. They are professionals and have been oriented how to deal with off the court scenarios. They are lucky those morons didn't have a gun. It could have been worse.

Remember it is them who brought this to themselves.

Only gives opinion on what is on the news and by people behind the scenes. So what do these news articles say? So where does it say that it wasnt incidental? If you ask any credible source within the team and if they would be honest with you. They would say that it was given by someone in the locker room and used by others as well.Regardless why would someone be called a dope boy by taking an over the counter energy drink.

The videos on FB show Jeron keeping his distance and was attacked/ambushed by the guy.He had to fight back for self defense. Norbert’s was him walking back and then being attacked it was them being at the wrong place at the wrong time. Could Jeron have walked the other way ? Sure but the other way was where Norbert was stabbed. The story was suposedly them minding their business walking back to the car and then being heckled and attacked.

For me personally the blame should be on Gilas not educating the players. Fine if its one player who drinks this thing but according to people he wasnt the only one. So i think it would be managements fault for not telling them and educating.

          • Phoenix trades Jeff Chan to Ginebra for first-round pick

I like this move by Gins. They badly need a great shooter to space the floor for their bigs

Good trade for both teams, Ginebra can overpay guys like chan who has good on one thing, phoenix on the other hand can able to develop a young guy unlike ginebra where he will rot on their bench.
To becomes Asia's Best, we need to compete against the World's Best..
                  1 Big 4 small > 5 out offense.

well dont get me wrong, phoenix backed by dennis uy can overpay too, that guy is almost same level as MVP and RSA i guess.but at this point phoenix is being more intelligent. chan never really turned out as planned for phoenix. they can still nab troy rike or parks in the draft. maybe ven CJP or the king lion forgot his name.

you cannot gauge his financial prowess just by judding of having one team in the PBA. guy almost had kia as his second team by the way. also dennis uy is building his empire so sooner he might have another team in the pba.

Jeff Chan's transfer to Ginebra would put both Kevin Ferrer & Jett Manuel to the farther end of Ginebra bench.

but judging the way phoenix plays.. its terrible and underachieving..and i really think the axing of vanguardianis immature inna sense that there is no significant improvement with alas in tow..

                                Agree.

Chan is already 34, and w/ the way he has played in the last 2 years, its obvious that his game is going downhill. In 2 to 3 years, baka subrang washed-up na laro nya.

So yes, I think this is a smart move by Phoenix. Perhaps Phoenix expects a good batch of rookies in the coming draft & having 2 draft picks in the 1st round (their own pick & that gained from the Jeff Chan trade) will do the trick.
