Hoping Sangalang would have been traded to BW so we can see him with Gilas, I think he could be a core Gilas piece for future PH teams (until at least the 20, 21 yr old big men in our college leagues are ready).

Still, I don't think this Maliksi deal is the deal the PBA's own twitter page was pimping, I don't think this trade is significant enough to tweet about if you are the league office.

IMO Sangalang will have his chance with Maliksi being traded since Coach Chot will have to choose another player from Star. Which i highly doubt it will be Paul Lee

then phoenix gets Bolts’ 2017 first round pick in the coming draft.

Pards, TNT already got Torres and Chua. Not superstars, but quality players that they can build on. It would be unfair if they'll also get a FIRST rounder that's high on the sequence of picks.

SMC teams always get the high picks on the trades... although i agree this trade is balance but gilas lang iniisip ko. i just want MVP teams to get the high picks kaso pinamigay nila yung sa meralco... well meralco is playing well this conference baka 5th or 6th place bagsak kakahinayang padin. i still hopes CS and ravena lands in MVP teams.

So Meralco gives up its first round pick in the next draft. It makes sense they got Lanete, Tolomia and now De Ocampo thru trades and want to win right now.

TNT has an influx of big men right now which can be assets for a future trade; Kelly, Golla, Torres and Chua.

I admire Maliksis game. He was a PF in college if Im not mistaken. But the way he moves, dribbles and shoots he looks like a natural SF. He even looks like an SG. If not for his injury history he wouldbe challenging Lassiterand Wright as thebest SG in the league.

Belo would do well to emulate this guys practice regimen. Maliksis game should be the one he patterns his after.
