Maliksi's game has been on the slide ever since and has only averaged close to 9ppg this conference. He makes ill-timed decisions that can be headscratchers for the typical basketball fan. He'll flourish at Blackwater where the offense is more liberal and mistakes are more tolerated. If he continues to play well, then he'll be an option for Gilas soon.

Hoping Sangalang would have been traded to BW so we can see him with Gilas, I think he could be a core Gilas piece for future PH teams (until at least the 20, 21 yr old big men in our college leagues are ready).

Still, I don't think this Maliksi deal is the deal the PBA's own twitter page was pimping, I don't think this trade is significant enough to tweet about if you are the league office.

Blackwater now has a pair of legit SFs in Ellis and Maliksi. The bigger question is what will now happen to Mac Belo? Belo is still learning to play the SF spot and his time will surely be affected. Belo will be stuck playing the 4, IMO his natural position in college.

the trade is good for the national team. Paul Lee would now be the clear choice for gilas this time around and blackwater can provide potential gilas players in Maliksi or Erram.

for some reason after his gilas stint his game is going downhill.

i hope he gets his groove back in BW. a lot of cash was lost because of his trade.the bonuses he gets everytime they win against mvp teams are gone. but i heard sy is a very generous man. i think bw is a good team for him.hope they play him as shooting guard.
