The PBA is a private league and is simply just one of the stakeholders of the SBP. And no, FIBA will not ban us because of issues hounding the PBA, simply because again, I reiterate, it is a private institution NOT affiliated or formed with FIBA's tutelage, unlike the professional leagues in Japan. Also note that the BJ and JBL are SUPPOSED TO BE UNDER the JBA, or Japan Basketball Association.
FIBA handed down a ban because the JBA can't keep its unruly kids straight. So, is the PBA under the SBP? NO. FIBA has no reason to ban us because of sh*theads doing their thing in the PBA.
FIBA was quite lenient to the BAP because of Graham Lim's relationship with the higher-ups. Despite the fact that the BAP was only sending ragtag national teams in international jousts, the FIBA didn't do anything. What mattered to the FIBA that time was so long as the Philippines participated, they were okay to them.
Of course, these expectations may have already changed with the entry of the SBP. The FIBA knows that the PBA is a stakeholder of the SBP, and it expects the Philippines to have the best players donning the country's colors. However, the Rhose Montreal issue is extremely trivial for the FIBA to give attention to. That's not how sports associations are suspended.

its just simply a case of bad fit, a guy like him thrives in a fast pace/open court offense. he wouldnt excel in a half court type of offense, he should have improve his outside shooting and facilitating skills, he has all the time in the world before no wonder why coach yeng never like this guy. maybe he doesnt like his work ethic and attitude and even up to this day his decision making is also unreliable. imo in order to get most out of this guy, sometimes you have to unleash him but unfortunately that wont happen in ginebra these days most especially if you have a coach named tim cone."Champions aren't made in the gyms; Champions are made from something they have deep inside them - a DESIRE, a DREAM, a VISION" - Muhammad Ali
