Malabo sir, don plays both ends of the court and has always been a smart player. Pascual does have terrific range but has very poor lateral movement, no thanks to 3 acl injuries! He used to be a stud in college with his high flying in- game dunks. After series of injuries, his game changed to a more conservative approach. Such a shame,we never get to see his full potential, i think the same could be said with Josan Nimes, 2 years ago he was already ripe for the pros before all the bad luck.

        • The current Alaska bench has quite a few players at 30 years or older. They really need to infuse younger blood.

agree, especially with their style of play they should get younger players na, hindi na makasasabay yung ibang veterans like tdlc.

TDLC played well under Austria back in their shell days and that was like more than 10 years ago lol

if Alaska could get new players at the end of the season in lieu of these players they could very well run their press and let the opposing team fell hell for 48 mins:
              TDLC
              Menk
              Eman
              Honti

they should also look to find future replacements for:
              baguio
              thoss
              casio
I am not a six footer, so I play heavy metal instead...

Hontiveros started his pro career at the MBA in 1998. Eric Menk came in 1999. Sonny Thoss and Cyrus Baguio belong to the PBA Draft Class of 2003 while Anthony Dela Cruz comes from the Class of 2001 (i think). You have 4 slots belonging to aging veterans. But I think its Dela Cruz and Menk's spots who are immediately replaceable.

Who do they have in the reserve list?

TDLC was Shell's direct hire in 1999, the same year Eric Menk joined the PBA as a direct hire of Tanduay Gold.

Cyrus Baguio was Red Bull's second round pick in 2003. Sonny Thoss was Alaska's first round pick in 2004.

Dondon Hontiveros joined the PBA in 2000 as Tanduay's direct local hire that season. He originally came from the Cebu Gems in the MBA where he was a rookie in the league's maiden season in 1998.

                    Quite an aging lineup indeed...

Thanks for the correction boss JP. Hontiveros, I recall in the news back then, could have entered the PBA much earlier as Shell was trying to recruit him.

Alaska needs to get young legs to sustain Alex Compton's system.
