So if really Tim Cone retires as coach in Alaska therefore he will receive a separation/retirement package (month or 2 salary * tenure) so if he rally retired in Alaska and getthat money and a month later gets a "signing bonus" and a car in SMC. WSU should be upset at the highest point despite lowballing Tim all this time around

Just goes to show that when very good friends disengage, the hostility is more apparent. Matter of fact, sometime in the late 90's, when Cone was able to beat Ron Jacobs in two finals series back-to-back, Kerry Uytengsu, the wife of WSU, corrected a guest in an occasion when the guest said that Cone was the best coach in the Philippines next to Jacobs. Kerry immediately chided him, and said, "no, Tim is the best coach now."
My friend is wondering if Kerry still carries that opinion today...

1. The position is only temporary, until they find a replacement.
2. Non was the obvious choice because he's also the league chairman this season. Had it been Ramoncito Fernandez, Dickie Bachmann or Mamerto Mondragon serving as chairman, they would have been appointed on an interim basis as CEO.

The so-called "harvest season" is expected, regardless who the CEO is. And no one can really stop that. What Narvasa would have to make sure though is that the trades are fair and balanced.
