then why i never see you complain on how smc got two consecutive first picks to acquire junmar(2012) and greg(2013) along with sangalang at second overall pick in 2013? when we all knew that they are one of the top teams in the pba? just because all of those trades are in favor of smc? those trades are far more lopsided than this one. it seems like if smc are the ones doing dubious trades its ok while if mvp teams doing something like that it isnt.

Any entity that bankrolls the national team is always good in my eyes. In this particular situation MVP is the entity. Yes, it would look like it was lopsided (in my opinion it was fair), but as long as these players are released for NT duties it could only end up in a win win scenario for both MVP and his business as well as the Gilas program

To add to more fuel to this "I-will-review-trades"-hate on Narvasa. Nico Salva was already at Ginebra practice on Monday. This was before the trade was supposedly reviewed and approved yesterday. Nakikipractice lang daw. But then there are pictures of him getting fitted for a Ginebra uniform on that same day. Hahaha So even then, kasado na yung trade.

I agree. Why bother having a d-league when it's not used for the purpose of having an official farm league? It's used for scouting potential lottery picks when it should be used for development of raw free agents and reserves.

I thought salva was a free agent? same with Chua (now with meralco)

Oh and you forgot ababou. he also practiced with the gins. I think they are over the "pagpapanggap" mode. They know that we know that barako is a farm team. And they know that we and the commish can't do anything about it.

Its the commish who has the control wether to allow or deny such lopsided trades. So its clearly the PBA's blunder for allowing this to happen.i belive if this continues i say this league will become extinct 20 from now.

lol, 3 guards for nico salva. Should i laugh or cry? This is hilarious! Huge smb fan since their ncc days but my love for the game takes over when the game is at stake. Blackwater trading their ist pick and to a lesser degree the rosario trade. Mas garapal lang smb but seriously this league is treading on dangerous waters. Unless a powerhouse company like SM comes to the picture, im really worried this league will split up. The recent smb snub is a clear indication of what could happen. barako and ginebra trade is most lopsided trade of the year. imagine, barako now has 7 pg hahaha. ginebra got to unload excess pg and got nico salva and the potential number 1 pick next year. garbage turned into gold.

over at kia, they get kg, rob reyes and aldrech ramos, three solid veteran players, for the number 2 pick who while has vast potential could turn out to be just as good a good role player. the only way kia loses in this trade is if rosario turns out to be as good as RDO which will take a few years to find out.

a 6-5 future legit superstar vs a 30 plus year old one dimensional journeyman, a bench warmer and a converted wing who ave 6.1 ppg. To be fair, pwede pa si ramos kaso the other 2 ? Cmon, hard to believe they asked for almazan and RDO but settled for this package.

The 3 players they got are all much better than everyone in their roster except revilla...remember that this team employs scrubs and end of bench guys who if moved to other teams would just be reserves. Now they get 3 legit starters for a "potentially" great player who isnt even a true go to guy at any level, what's not to like?
