he or everyone doesn't deserve the respect your talking about since they started the scuffle.
1. one Global Port guy shoved Taha to Adducul
2. Adducul grab his foot
3. Taha got up and put up a fighting stance
4. Rabeh came to rescue(lol)
See, if only Taha just stood up, ran to the other side and continue the game hence the point 4 will not happen. If you put up a fighting stance and you are just a rookie, you will get this kind of treatment from anyone.
again RESPECT: this is not WWE who CM Punks(WWE Champion) demands respect from anyone, this is Pro Basketball and even a 10th guy from the bench can ask a rookie to bring his bag or wash his car as a welcome to pros. Mind you this is only the 1st or 2nd game of Taha? If he did this to let say Belga or the old EVill - - we don't know what will happen to him.. lucky him Romel is a changed man.Last edited by ricodgame; 09-13-2012, 06:14 AM.#parasabayan

Or you're still referring to aquino and espino?
ps: belga is fat but he's not lazy, back in pcu he only knew how to score the basket in close range, he even had a terrible fts percentage. but look at him now, he can kick your butt with those 3s with consistency. We can have no progress without change, whether it be basketball or anything else

Taha always had a way of getting under his opponent's skin. I've watched him live a few times last season. He's the kind of player that likes to trashtalk and flop and even try throw a few cheap shots every single game. He needs to change his attitude if wants to stay in the league. I wonder how these vets would react to Abueva LOL

nice marketing strategy for aktv. They are putting back the drama in the league.

Guevarra admited to be the one who made the shove however he had no ill-intent when he did it.
Even at the short time Taha was with Mapua, he really has that "angas" which even a number of his team mates are not comfortable with. But that's what he really is. During the game he was in a series of trash-talking with both Salvador and Al-Husseini. So the "inis" factor got the emotions of Salvador and Al-Husseini and took advantage of the situation when they cornered Taha. Adducul on the other hand got mad when he thought Taha was pinning him down and not letting him stand-up when Taha was only actually trying to get-up himself.
For this is nothing to be alarmed with as this ordinarily happens when the referees are not in full control and let's the players continue with the trash-talking.
On Taha and a number of Fil-foreign rookies, they have to be more sociable with the home-grown locals especially the "elders" to avoid being picked-on.LABAN KUNG LABAN! KAYA NATIN PILIPINAS!
Mabuhay ang TEAM PILIPINAS !!!!

I do not want the old EVill at Ateneo, with a big potential but soft with no bite and needing motivation. As the Raging Bull he might be disturbingly eratic but he serves a purpose .... he has a specific role to do. For me it depends on what team he is in and what the coach wants him to do. As long as he is doing what he is told to do by his coaches, then he is just doing fine. Some problems we fans have is that we always picture players on a certain way, that they have to do this or to do that, what we forgot is that first and foremost he has to perform the task his coach wants him to do.LABAN KUNG LABAN! I wonder if Chris Tiu will suffer the same fate? Even though he looks like a choir boy and isn't "maangas" he has a lot of sneaky "veteran moves" in his arsenal hehe

Tiu already got his baptism of fire when Gilas 1.0 played in the PBA. It's safe to say he can take what he can dish "with a smile". I think the international rough housing he got with Gilas 1.0 playing all over the world has more than toughened his hide.See things not as they are but as what they could be

He might not be a Mark Caguioa or a James Yap, but him alone has his own following. There are indications that Chris Tiu's good image would have a positive effect on the marketing of Rain Or Shine products translating to increase in sales.
I remember during Gilas 1.0, there were issues between the two (Chris Tiu and Paul Lee) on why Paul Lee did not want to join Gilas at that time.
We know that Chris is the leader of Gilas 1.0. Will he carry that attributes in ROS? I think so. So what will happen now when Paul Lee is back, as he is the current leader of this team.Smart Gilas 2.0
