so if ABL is a FIBA sanctioned league. shouldn't it be that the FIBA Asia rule of having fil-foreigners or half breed foreigners should acquire passport at the age of 16 instead of the ABL rule that the dual-citizen must have the asean passport for at least 3 years should be followed? or does the ABL rule overrides the FIBA Asia rule? im quite confused.

that's why FIBA-Asia is now rethinking if it'll continue sanctioning the ABL. Maybe they could touch on the topic in Tokyo if they have the time.

given 2 or 3 more years the ABL will definitely reap revenues with the likes of saigon having jam packed arena's all season long. also the indonesia warriors have a huge fan base wher pringle is a superstar in indonesia right now. i think when the ABL will get its revenues, more PBA players will go to that league mainly because the team owners on that league can definitely shell out some huge sums to pay them and with the current 6 months playing in a single season is a better choice for most players. i hope brunei baraccudas comes back. but thats another thread.lols. sorry for the off topic.

i have the downloaded regulations which i regularly update.just click on fiba regulations. then click on what rules or provisions you want. if you are interested on players eligibility, click and download book 2 or chapter 2 of internal regulations.

The PBA as a company is treating ABL as its rival unless they been able to control it. It would still be the same..

sorry, book 3 for players eligibility but book 2 is also a good read since its about the fiba competitions. both will answer your current and other prospective questions

as I say Patience my Ladies and Gentlemen.

Go watch Pinoy Xtreme's Greatest Games while we wait for the new season to start. There will still be trades while the Practice Games are being done by the different teams. Many of them are tweaking their line-ups to be more competitive, while as we know it there is some doing it for the sake of business.
