As of this writing, the couple are on their way back to the Philippines. While nothing is set in stone yet as far as his next step in his career is concerned, Espiritu said it is likely the spitfire guard will make a PBA return.
NorthPort Batang Pier have the rights to Bolick.
“Once I get that clearance (from Fukushima), technically, he will be a free agent,” Espiritu said. “Pero I think with the circumstances—hindi pa namin napagu-usapan but it would be safe to say (balik) PBA dahil nga buntis asawa niya at gusto niya safe ‘yung pregnancy.”

Whatever Gold Standard thing Grandpa Ricky V. are talking about in 4 years time as far as PBA or professional basketball as a whole will only depend on what improvements or innovations they want to implement on Philippines basketball landscape to be at far on all Asian leagues. Well for me personally, my expectation on that statement is not all about Mens basketball but also what are the plans of our stakeholders as far as Womens basketball are concern. Its really high time to establish a 5x5 Womens Professional League because of so many women players nowadays both here and overseas
That's my expectation on that statement about Gold Standard.

We won the gold and that is a great accomplishment, congrats to everyone that's part of it.
But let's not get too carried away and think everything is golden. If not for Brownlee playing like a hybrid of Jordan, Steph and T-Mac during the tournament, we would be having a different conversation.
Like what most successful people say, it's easier to get to the top than staying on top. If we want to stay golden and prove to asia that it's not only a fluke, we can't milk this championship til it's a dry tit and do nothing to address underlying problems.
