Hey Nards, I didn't want to reveal that part of the arrangement because that was the very bone of contention I was harping on.

The cash payment isn't an issue really especially since this is probably worth in the 8-digit mark. But if you look at it, the PBA Commissioner has to really evaluate this trade agreement closer. Was the cash consideration issue brought up in the Commissioner's Office as part of the 3-way trade? Or was this kept in the dark? If it's the latter, then Salud could've evaluated the arrangement better and would have easily seen that the arrangement was disadvantageous to Air 21. Had the Express revealed that they were getting cash as part payment for such, then shouldn't that have been included in the announcement?

BGK is now preparing for their future. Ellis, Ababou, Maliksi and Jenses are all young and potent players, They only need more time on the hardcourt. Hopefully Air21 performs the same way they did last season so BGK can get Slaughter or Pringles or even Banchero.

All is fair in love and war. Remember Petron lost a lot in this trade too (giving up Baclao for nothing, unless you consider Hubalde and/or Sison or the 2nd rounder as real assets, which they are not at face value) so at least call a spade a spade

Ginebra obviously are the initial winners-- but Air 21 could perform well so that 1st rounder could not be as valuable too.
