Well I'd rather have them than Desiderio. A lot of good players could be had at the 2nd round.

yup, especially that things are going back to normal, a lot of college kids almost done with their eligibilities and the fil-foreigners popping out, future drafts ought to be deep. Despite the interest of foreign leagues in our players, i doubt we'll be seeing another paolo mendoza draft class (which was actually affected by direct hires)

Desiderio meanwhile.joins the likes of Jeric Teng, Jett Manuel, guys who peaked too soon and out of the league after their rookie contracts. Desiderio most likely will get blacklisted in local basketball due to his pending domestic abuse case

desiderio is really not built for the professional level. he's like 5'10" playing the SF position. reminds me of johnedel cardel.

he's 1-dimensional although really good at it. i feel like he will continue to have a productive pba career but he won't be improving anymore.

          • In my opinion Rosario needs to reinvent himself as a player and maybe transition into a 3 and D wing. In TNT choke used him primarily as a catch and shoot 3pt shooter and a guy that positions himself for drop passes whenever Castro or Williams drives to the basket on offense.

Troy is still young and you dont find that many athletic mobile 6'6" guys with a decent perimeter game. But seeing that he is going to TankWater they would probably use him as an undersized 5 at times when they go small ball with Ular at the 4 spot.

That's frankly what Troy should have been in the first place, in my view. A 3-and-D four who can switch onto the perimeter, even if he doesn't develop his wing skills. He has the athleticism, length, and motor for it.

Too bad that small ball wasn't a thing when Troy was 23-25, which was the period that could have been used to develop him. Sadly, he's now 30, and I dunno if he can still develop into a good switchable defensive player.

tab actually gave him that role in the 2016 OQT and he performed well, that's why people were high on him. but as soon as he got to the PBA he stagnated, his 3pt shooting was the only thing that improved

                • Troy would fit in beautifully over at San Miguel. If I were San Miguel, I wouldn't think twice about trading Tautuaa or Manuel, two paint cloggers, for Rosario.

The Arwind replacement. I'd trade Manuel for him.

                    • Even since amateur days troy's corner shot was money during shoot arounds, what he didnt overcime is the dissapointment everytime he wasnt able to translate this accuracy in real game..didnt develop the elbow three more..didnt develop tue mid range game also as he was being prototype to modern game..

Just needs more freedom and yes license to create shots for himself..he is a much better player than ian sangglang and ian sanggalang just really develop a good offensive repertoir
To becomes Asia's Best, we need to compete against the World's Best..
                      1 Big 4 small > 5 out offense.

At least NorthPort got a first-round pick. Hahahahahahaha.

All that said, I think it's time we adopted the European football transfer system and disclosed cash amounts in trades. In Europe, you straight up buy players for 8, and even 9 digits in euros. At least it gives teams more incentive to raise their prices, increasing their spending power (wages, transfers, etc.). At least we'll know the farm teams will get something out of it.

                            • SMC corp. is just trying to get Malonzo ASAP since Japan might get him lmao

                              • Wow so a top 7 player in the last conference's BPC race could be had for 2 bench and injury prone players and a pick on the tail end of the first round, talk about a very even trade lol. At least the MVP groups player shuffle were more balanced as compared to this one. An elite player like Malonzo is worth 3 1st rd picks at least. And Northport already has a Kevin Ferrer which is a similar type of player like Tolentino.
