A big difference here is that I think the Uveros come from money while the spouses of Jalalon and Abueva probably are still dependent on them so they don't want to harm their PBA careers.

Correct, the big issue should be Uvero not knowing if Desiderio had a child while in relationship thats a good reason for separation (no papers needed since they arent married )..

anyway this reminds me of my old man and his wise words regarding relationship
