Pera-pirma gives up Javi Gomez-Delliano for SMB's Bam Gamalinda
"A king may move a man, a father may claim a son, but that man can also move himself, and only then does that man truly begin his own game. Remember that howsoever you are played or by whom, your soul is in your keeping alone, even though those who presume to play you be kings or men of power, when you stand before God, you cannot say, 'But I was told by others to do thus,' or that virtue was not convenient at the time. This will not suffice." - King Baldwin IV
homer sayson is reporting that meralco is trying to get slaughter from northport. if, by some miracle, meralco is able to pull this off without giving up too many assets, this might be black's final chance.

hmm i expect northport to ask for almazan, another asset (belo?) and future draft picks
edit: but i dont expect Slaughter to get them over the hump, he's a upgrade over Almazan, but he's just a support/2nd banana player
Not really, he will get playing time in black water and with added play gets him another pba contract down the line.
This is a good trade for converge both teams as both were loaded at each spot
Converge gets a player that could replace ahanmisi and since they got 2 bigs in the recent draft, they have no use for taha as much as before
Yup. Taha has been inconsistent for Alaska. There are times he is good but many times he disappears. Too bad he has the decent size and skills to be a starting center in the PBA. But because of inconsistency he is not a guy you want your new franchise to be built around. Lojera, I and many others have been saying is PBA ready. With a new team he will have the chance to show what he's got.
