No wonder development stagnates once they get into the pros. What you see on his rookie year is almost what you get on his prime. 2015 Troy Rosario is almost the same player as 2022 Troy. Abueva even stagnated from being a playmaker in NCAA averaging a triple double to exlusively playing the 3 and 4 spot.
Yeah, Abueva had potential as a combo guard. Shame that he was just a 3/4 for his PBA career.
Development culture here kinda sucks. Talking about specifically for the PBA for the most part, not the entire PH basketball scene.

Little by Little. Fil Foreign Fiba Ineligible Players will dominate the Pba even more. And they are all developed mostly overseas.
But anyway, I am sure there will always been an exception to any rule. And in Pba, I think there will be always 3-4 fiba eligible locals who deserved to be at least in the pool.
But the core of the Team, I think it would came from Player Overseas and College. Unless College Stars (like Balti and Tamayo) goes to pba too.

FLASH: PAMPANGA GOVERNOR DELTA PINEDA now on second round of negotiations foe possible purchase of Alaska franchise, kuliglig told me.
If and when the former PBA DLEAGUE TEAM OWNER seals the deal, another kuliglig bared that he might look for ways to acquire discoveries and PBA stars CALVIN ABUEVA, IAN SANGALANG and ARWIND SANTOS ro his team.
