One more thing. i don't follow PBA news that often but I've read a thing or two about the Rodney Brondial issue. Maybe that's the last straw?

I'm sure you'll do the same thing if you were in their shoes, actually I'm sure you're doing the same thing right now in your line of work or whatever it is you do to generate income.

even the sensationalists and hypocrites hiding behind their media badges will do anything to earn as extra buck or two.

oh and isn't it the height of hypocrisy to cry foul about the PBA UFA rule but wholeheartedly embrace the right of Pinoy players to accept the multi-million peso offers of foreign leagues?
Yeah, it's their right. Right of the employee to a living wage, which is what the empires can give most of all.

The solution is really having a salary cap. Either that, or adopt the European system of buying players instead of trades. By adopting the transfer system in Europe, players can get the benefits of the empires, while their former teams are richly compensated in exchange for selling the player.

dapat, shouldn't Alaska be required to shoulder the existing contracts or at least negotiate a buyout?

              • Given his shopping spree, I'm surprised Villar did not buy Alaska.

He can name the team AllBasketball or AllCamella. LOL

its under the San Miguel Food Inc.

                          sources:

San Miguel Foods (SMF), the food unit of San Miguel Corp. (SMC), is set to transfer its nationwide hog inventory and facilities under the Monterey brand to local raisers, in efforts to boost smallholder farming across the country.

They'll also "follow rules on conference eligibility." And they'll participate in the Governors' Cup.

Come on, PBA. Still having an All-Filipino, and a conference with a height limit on imports? Anak ng tokwa.
