Nagagamit lang si Caperal during those times when either Greg or Japeth was injured but when those 2 are healthy, Caperal rot in the bench.
Hope he can thrive in Ginebra. He's averaging 14 PPG in 4 games in the import conference. Hope he finally seals his spot in the rotation.

Alaska got rid of Ebona to free up Brondial and the other bigs and
Meralco got rid of Amer and Jackson to free up Pinto and Black,
seems to me that Newsome will be their Meralco's primary point guard from this day onwards.Last edited by Money; 01-07-2022, 06:33 AM.

Originally posted by robert0326The difference between Meralco and Alaska is that Meralco can still pick up for replacement for Pinto, they have BWB as their farm team, they can get the likes of Melton or Casio as replacement... As for Alaska, I feel bad for them.... It's hard to find Brondial's spot for Alaska....Attack

Tips now for other teams that were unfavor of these UFA situation, give them early contract and if they decline the contract, Teams should trade them atleast lesser value (kahit 2nd round lang) rather than nothing.. In case for Banchero, If he declines, If i were Phoenix then trade him already, rather than losing for nothing... Example was Cstand conflict contract w/ Northport.. NP trade him already for Greg rather than they will let him go nothing....

There might be an argument that this can be a tax avoidance scheme. Tax avoidance is a legal means of avoiding tax.
Anyways, I digress. If the under the table benefits are ruled as part of taxable compensation, the team will have to declare it as salary, which might lead to salary cap complications.

Non-declaration of the under the table benefits (if taxable) may count as intent to avoid tax, an essential element in tax evasion.

So applying it to PBA teams, it's probable that the under the table benefits might go to fringe benefits, which are taxable, but under the company's name. It's not employee income, so to speak. Problem is if said benefits are unreasonably high, if I remember correctly.

Hmm, what Koreans fill positional needs for teams? And what positions do the PBA teams need?
