Because ROS give their players the right value for them.. Aside from smc and MVP teams, ROS is one of best mange teams in the pba…

The signing came just hours after SPIN.ph reported that Brondial turned unrestricted free agent under the seven-year rule after failing to come to terms on a new contract with the Aces.
At San Miguel, Brondial will be reunited with college coach Leo Austria, who handled the 31-year-old power forward at Adamson.
Calls and text messages made to Austria and team manager Gee Abanilla haven't been replied as of post time.
Brondial was a first-round pick (No. 6) of Barangay Ginebra as part of the 2014 draft class - the first to avail of unrestricted free agency under the seven-year rule.
In a social media post, Alaska team manager Richard Bachmann admitted both parties failed to come to terms on a two-year deal offered to Brondial by the Aces.
"We did offer a two-year contract, but I guess that was not enough," said Bachmann.
The Alaska executive admitted Brondial just exercised his right as an unrestricted free agent - a status that gives him the right to choose the team he wanted to play for.
"Rodney is part of the batch of players that become free agents when their contract expires. Free to choose which team to go to."

He won't be much use, though. He's already 36, going 37.

According to an international agent there were no formal offers to Japeth from B. League teams
https://tiebreakertimes.com.ph/tbt/a...ginebra/229180
Back in December, Aguilar only had a few days left in his existing contract.
Of course, there was interest for him from B.League teams. However, with Aguilar still under an existing contract with Ginebra, no team attempted to make a formal offer. It would have risked another debacle like what happened with Kiefer Ravena a few months back if it did.
“Interested teams in Japeth never got a chance to make an offer to him mainly because he still had a contract,” said a foreign agent based in Japan, who requested anonymity.
“And they were in a rush.”
Aguilar had apprehensions over the past two months.
With a deal on the table from the San Miguel Corporation, Aguilar did not want to lose it. Taking a gamble meant that he would enter free agency.
What if SMC pulls the contract out? What if the best deal he can get in the B.League is just a one-year deal?
Aguilar’s camp had hoped for a quick offer sheet from the few teams they had spoken with. But it was an impossible feat, especially with the ongoing pandemic.
"So it never got to a point where an offer was made to him,” the source added.
“Besides, Japan has yet to open its borders for new entries that’s why teams in Japan have just been rotating imports.”
In the end, Aguilar ended up signing with the only real deal he had. After all, it’s still food on the table.
