Couldn't have ended up in a better situation. Excited to see how he develops under Topex.

Was never really high on Laput but 6'10 is 6'10. And yes, i do agree that Mags have a decent track record of developong bigs. A solid 15 mins per night for Lapus, 5 pts, 5 boards, 1 block and his 6 fouls would be a big help.

Now, Magnolia have a body to throw against Junemar.

            • This is somehow a fair deal. 2 non factors for a player who was drafted based on his height alone. Mags had too many PGs who can't shoot consistently and 6'5 and above bigs who aren't really a threat to JF. As to why farm team A gave up on their pick after a conference? $$$

BTW is he really 6'10? Can't find any evidence that they were strict with the height measurements in the previous draft

Right on cue, Blackwater will reportedly trade former Gilas player Carl Bryan Cruz to TNT for seldom used Chris Javier and a future (late) first round pick.

Great pickup for TNT as CBC very familiar with coach Chot’s system. Matter of fact his best year outside of FEU was with gilas and Chot as the coach. As for BW, if i remember it Chris Javier was with them in 2019 before TNT signed him? Oh well gotta outdo the other farm team I guess

good pickup by TnT as CBC can play SF and SG i think.

CBC is actually a PF/SF. I dunno if Chot can develop him to be an off-guard. Could be interesting.

with his current frame and his dribbling movements plus laterals in defense, doubt it.

Wow. Goes to show you how Chot loves CBC so much. He has the shooting and some grit of RDO but he is smaller and has worse handles. Not really much of a player except probably when playing with a dominant center. TNT is overpaying for the guy. But then again he might mentor younger stretch 4s.

I guess a fair trade. Melton still has some game as a role player. He has shooting but shaky handles for a PG. But Pascual is almost useless except for fouls. Laput showed some good games. He looks legit 6'9-6'10. He looks mobile for his height. This is obviously a farm team move. Terrafirma lacks bigs why get smaller? But on the players themselves it is fair.

Chot loves undersized 4s who can hit outside shots.

                              • CBC was supposed to be the "next rdo"

But he is smaller, less tougher I think, and a worse shooter than Prime TNT RDO.

But maybe Coach Chot can bring his magic into him. Their Kanya Kanya Diskarte(Dribble Drive) may be beneficial for CBC
