Well, no offense intended my friend, Jordan did finish at 3rd place at the expense of Lebanon in the last FIBA-Asia, we can't deny the fact that they played much better as a team that time, have earned it fair and square and I am giving full credit to whom it is due. Besides, there's always a first time for everything. South Korean basketball is having internal problems of their own, notably their lack of preparation and ballclubs unable to lend their top players to play for their national team, it would take a lot of effort to get them back on track but that is another issue.

Jordan is currently no. 3 in asia behind Iran and China, unless as you have mentioned other asian nations will prove them otherwise in the next fiba asia championships in 2011.

I would stick to my original position the Current Big 4 consists of Iran, China, Jordan and Lebanon in their proper descending order. Each of the four would surely like to be number 1 next time around but of course there would be some big surprises like what Chinese-Taipei did. But who knows, 2011 might be Lebanon's year.....

mate u missed my point iran won against china in this last asian championship but u cannot consider iran as number 1. china still tops the chart in asian basketball.Kazakhstan reached 3rd place in the 2007 asian championship so according to u they became a powerhouse in 2007 and suddenly they went out of the second round in 2009 and thus they are no more strong!. basketball is continuity and u have to earn ur reputation through many years and tournaments. lebanon did that jordan didint yet.
and btw jordan are also struggling with no league and no competition.
for me china is still number 1 with iran as 2nd lebanon as 3rd and korea as 4th.when lebanon won against korea in the semi finals of the 2001 championship i didint consider lebanon as better until they proved it in the next championships.
