I just noticed that Haddadi has a pretty big tattoo on his right arm. Like most tattoos, I have no idea what it is!!"I really like the attitudes of eagles. They never give up. I don't know if it's useful or good for him to stay with them since he's the third center on the roster and with the return of Marc Gasol and getting Thabeet to play more in the rotation I don't see Haddadi being able to get much playing time in the future.

Just when he was scoring and grabbing boards in the last game (where he had 11pts and 8 rbs) he was subed-out. The coach didn't play him much tonight in their loss. Thabeet (35min, 6pts, 6rb), Haddadi (5min, 2pts, 1rb).
The Memphis coach seems devoted to developing his project Thabeet. Haddadi should leave as soon as possible in my opinion. That would be in his best interest career-wise.

I like how the headcoach says something like "you have to earn your spot in the team". Watching Thabeet get as much minute as he does makes me wonder that I either don't know the meaning of the word earn, or that earn has a different meaning in his vocabulary!

Thabeet is younger (I hope, there were some questions) and more athletic, and was picked with a #2 pick, of course they are more interested in developing him, not Haddadi. Sure it's unfair, but that's how it works in the NBA. It's always hard to be the first (pave the road) too.
I do hope he's traded to another team so we can see what he can do in another setting. Something tells me, however, that he will only have a Mengke Bateer-type career (whose career high is 12, 1 more than Hamed)
aim low, score high

Sinobball, I agree, they are planning on developing Thabeet and he is younger by 2 years (Hamed is only 25 and I don't think he's old for developing). Moreover, in my opinion Thabeet hasn't lived up to his #2 seed, and I'm not sure if he is much more athletic than Hamed.
Getting back on the topic, its disingenuous of the head coach to say that he has to earn his spot. I don't think Thabeet is getting more minuter because he has earned it.
Me too, I hope Hamed leaves Memphis, and I hope he has a better career than Bateer (I just checked Bateer's stats, he averaged 15 min in 2001 at Denver, if Hamed gets as much minutes wherever he goes, he might be able to put some good stats on the board).

Hamed Haddadi has yet to join the Memphis Grizzlies on training camp. The Grizzlies had not issued a clear statement on the details of "Legal Issues" that Haddadi is currently pre-occupied and addressing in Iran.
Anyone has info on this? It will be most appreciated.Sacramento Kings
