To be honest i only heard from here that Phillipines is pulling out. From what i know theyre still going have not heard anything official but i guess the phillipine fans would know more than meabout their team. Havent seen any official releasings onling either.

p.s.The Qatar-Ukraine game is cancelled today due to Ukraine wanting to play at 1pm while the Qatari's are fasting, there Qatar will just train and practice in evening instead of their final game.

Quatar should be banned from further international competition for many years to come. Their behaviour at the Asian Champs is a disgrace and an insult to FIBA and every competing nation there.
First these guys cheat, and then they don't even have enough pride left not to loose their games there intentionally. I hope FIBA will punish Quatar for this. Countries like that have no right to be in such events!

And the Lebanese guy or even the FIBA Asia is a disgrace in allowing these thing to happen. They could have send memos already to the countries federation regarding these eligibility issues weeks or months before. I mean each contries send their list of 25 players one month before the tournament, FIBA asia sholud have informed the the teams already by then. And not on then managers meeting when teams dont have the time to replace their eligible players

yeah! it's a disgrace and disrespecting not only to FIBA but to the basketball game. it's also a big slap on the face of the FIBA-Asia President as he himself is a Qatari.

well, maybe we cannot fault them at this stage as they are letting their emotions dictate and justify their reasonings.

qatar is a disgrace they cheat in the beginning and now they stand b4 every game with the anthem of the country and than do this they should be lucky that even got to the WBC 2006 cuz of all these africans ... what they should do for 2013 is keep the 5 africans they already and fill the rest of the roster with locals ( if there is any ) if it were up to me I hope to never wanna c these bas***** again ..

Apparently the head of Asian Basketball the Qatari guy just resigned from his post. And the resignation was accepted from the committee.
