  • WABA U15 Championship [Tehran, 1-5 Aug]

1st round of WABA U15 Championship starts Friday in Tehran and until 5 Aug.

    Participating teams
    Iran
    Lebanon
    Syria
    Iraq
    Jordan
    Yemen (Heard they withdraw)

To our Iranian friends here, do you know if two or three teams qualify to ASIA U16? Cz last time, no WABA team reached the last four. Also, if you can provide us when the tournament starts with live stats link if there is any.

    Thanks a lot.

Any chance Iraq sent players that aren't supposed to be here?

Unfortunately that is exactly the case.

There were murmurs around the teams that Iraq has way to many over aged players playing for them.. Iranian head coach believed they had at least 3 who where over 18..
