Maybe Riyadi's goal in its participation in Arab clubs championship is testing strategies and the players to prepare for Asia, their main target this year is winning the ABC (clubs), FAC hinted that in an interview after the final game against Champville.

Ittihad barely won on Sharja.

i dont think FAC has a vision for asia, remember in asia vogel and cooper will not be there, they nearly play 40 minutes every game (except for cooper yesterday), moreover brian will be an important member in asia tournament, he barely let him play.
Note also that when riyadi secures one of the games in this tournament then he let (fakhreddine, rodrigue) play all the time i.e. 2 players that will barely see the court in asia

note: i think that FAC should choose cooper instead of nate, he is more stable
