Is it true Wael Arakji is going to Byblos? What are teams participating? Which team suffering financially? Which team will quit? Three or Two foreigner?
It will again be a walk for Riyadi, but hope to see some of their talent distributed to other teams. Wael to Byblos would be nice start.

Apart from the 3 foreigners, Lebanese coach are in trouble too. Way its going we will end up with more then 50 % of teams with foreign coaches.

Moutahed not clear yet if they signed foreigner Jahmar Young. It was first reported official, then denied. I would say he is downgrade on Spencer.

Joe Vogel is getting ready for his 20th year. He is now playing for Byblos this season.

Byblos also signed Bassel Bawji, which is massive plus for them.As i think Bawji is best lebanese player outside Riyadi team. However, its not clear yet if they will sign Mohamad ibrahim their playmaker of last season.

Elie Chamoun signed with Byblos, from Champville.

As is obvious, Moutahed Homenetmen Byblos Riyadi are working ...Hoops not much news on them as they are low budget i think.
Tadamon financial problems is on its way to be solved. Sagesse, Antranik, NDU and Champville are big ifs.

ابتسم... أكرم الحلبي في ذوق مكايل


يبدو ان وجهة مجموعة رجال الأعمال وعلى رأسهم أكرم الحلبي ستحط رحالها في نادي التضامن(ذوق مكايل) الكسرواني لتمويل الفريق الذي سيخوض غمار بطولة لبنان لكرة السلة لموسم 2015-2016 .وما قيل عن ان الشمس ستشرق من ديك المحدي قريباً يبدو ليس صحيحاً بل شرقت الشمس من كسروان عامة ومن بلدة ذوق مكايل الساحلية حيث ترحّب بك لافتة كُتب عليها"ابتسم انت في الذوق" وهو الشعار الذي يعرفه القاصي والداني.واكرم الحلبي، ابن الاشرفية الكاثوليكي والمولود في 7 تموز من العام 1968 وعاشق الرياضة بشكل عام وكرة القدم وكرة السلة بشكل خاص،شاء القدر ان يكون على رأس فريق من المتمولين لتمويل النادي الكسرواني الوحيد الذي يلعب في الدرجة الأولى بعد هبوط ناديي احياء الرياضة والكهرباء الشهيرين(من ذوق مكايل) الى درجة دنيا.فأكرم الحلبي، تاجر الأدوية منذ اكثر من ثلاثين سنة وتاجر الخشب منذ سنوات عدة،دخل الوسط الرياضي الاداري منذ نحو سنة وبات ملماً بشؤونه وشجونه بسرعة قياسية فهو يعلم عن كثب "سوق اللاعبين" وانتقالاتهم الى الأندية وعلى علاقة وطيدة مع وكلاء اللاعبين فنجح هذا الشاب في معرفة كافة الأمور المتعلقة بكرة السلة بدهاء وذكاء كبيرين حتى اجمع كل من عرفه انه رجل يعرف ماذا يريد ويصوّب نحو الهدف ويصيبه ولو بعد مائة عام و"ميتو ما بيموت"...

لم يتأقلم الحلبي في نادي الشانفيل لأنه كان يسأل كثيراً عن أمور لم تكن ادارة الشانفيل معتادة على هذه الاسئلة منذ سنوات طويلة حيث كان الرؤساء الفخريون المتعاقبون يأتون الى النادي المتني ليدفعوا فقط من دون ان يحق لهم السؤال عن مصير ما يدفعون!!!!

انفرجت اسارير ابناء كسروان عامة ومشجعي نادي التضامن وهم كثر خاصة ان المعلومات عن مجيء المتمولين تتلاقى مع اقتراب افتتاح القاعة المميزة والعملاقة لبلدية ذوق مكايل التي تتسع للألاف من المشاهدين حيث سيلعب النادي الكسرواني(الذي يملك قاعدة جماهيرية كبيرة) مبارياته في البطولة على هذا الملعب.

أكرم الحلبي رجل صريح الى اقصى الحدود يعرف ماذا يريد يناور (بالمناسبة فهو مناور بارع) في بعض الاوقات لدس النبض وتراه هجومياً في البعض الآخر.فهذا الرجل يصل الى هدفه وكلامه دقيق ومسؤول.طموحه لا محدود فهو "عدة ماكينات" في رجل واحد، قليل النوم وتراه على مدار الساعة على مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي تزامناً مع عمله.فهذا الرجل يملك قلب طفل اذا عرفت كيف تتعامل معه ويكره الكذب كره العرب لاسرائيل.يقود اكرم الحلبي سيارته بنفسه من دون اللجوء الى سائق يريحه من عناء القيادة لسبب يعرفه هو لرجل عصامي شبك علاقات متينة مع الكثيرين .كثير الأسفار وها هو يستعد للسفر الى العاصمة الروسية موسكو الأحد المقبل ومن ثم العودة الى مدريد فالى العاصمة الايرانية طهران في زيارة عمل خاصة.ويملك الحلبي ذاكرة رهيبة فهو لا ينس اي شيء .قد يتناسى لكنه لا ينسى انه اسلوب اكرم الحلبي لرجل يملك caractere خاص به كما قال عنه احد الزعماء الكبار وله شخصية خاصة به.يردّد الحلبي في مجالسه" سأعيش في نهاية عمري وفي فترة تقاعدي في بيت صغير على ضفاف نهر ازرع وآكل مما زرعته انه حلمي".وللحلبي رؤية اجتماعية لافتة متأثر بروسيا وبأوكرانيا وبالدول الشرقية ويعشق النشيد الوطني اللبناني ويليه النشيد الوطني الروسي لذا تراه يسمع النشيدين في سيارته خلال القيادة.اذا راقبت الحلبي على صفحته الخاصة على موقع "فايسبوك" لا بد ان تخرج بقناعة انه رجل مؤمن الى اقصى الحدود فصور مار شربل على مدار الساعة اضافة الى بعض "التنميرات" على بعض الاصدقاء ومنها ما كتبه على صفحته عن احد الزملاء في كانون الثاني الفائت" لتكن روحه في السماء"مع ان الزميل لم يمت فقامت قيامة اهل الزميل الذي تلقى اتصالات من اهله في الخارج يستفسرون عن الأمر مذهولين ومندهشين.لدى هذا الرجل روح النكتة.اذا أخطأ اعتذر بشجاعة ومن دون تردد.

ويقول الحلبي" اعشق العمل لكنني لا أحب المال" .هذا الأمر يردّده دائماً ...

نعم نادي الشانفيل خسر اكرم الحلبي وكسبه نادي التضامن الكسرواني حتى ان نكتة بدأ يتداولها أهل كسروان أن نواب كسروان والمرشحين الموارنة في القضاء(كوتا كسروان النيابية هي 5 مقاعد للموارنة) تساءلوا في اتصالاتهم امس السؤال التالي: هل ان اكرم الحلبي ماروني؟ فتنفسوا الصعداء عندما علموا انه كاثوليكي لكنه لن يكون "غريب" في كسروان....

نعم ابتسم اكرم الحلبي في الذوق....

So make it 5 clubs now with foreign coaches ( riyadi, homenetmen, byblos, moutahed, tadamon) and more to come .
The league is being dismantle with teams cheating with naturalization, 3 foreigners on court and foreign coaches.

Apparently Hayk is staying at Sagesse, and not going to Homentemen.A bit of ugly work by Hayk, he shaked hands and got verbal agreement with homenetmen to jojn them.. everything was set to sign in 24 hours..and he changed his mind ...
Nothing illegal, but not ethical. Sagesse is becoming the team full of money whores, starting julian khazzouh who dumped them..now hayk.. they have no identity left.

Sagesse also signed Wayne Chism, as foreigner from filipino league.

Roy Samaha, Sabah Khoury and Bachir Ammoury sign for Sagesse. Sagesse are really low level club, with dirty adminstration. They negotiate some of their players under contract, to lower their salaries despite them signing official contracts. Then go ahead and sign other players with money.

I mean you dont have money, why sign new players.. keep your word and contracts you got with your current players.

With this logic every club will end up giving contracts to certain players, then why they are injured or not up to level.. rip the contract apart. What a joke. where is professionalism in the game?

The Lebanese Basketball league for season 2015 - 2016 starter, and we can safely claim we have the best league in Asia... but its anything but lebanese.


First game between tadamon & moutahed. Game ends 82 - 68 for tadamon, moutahed lebanese players scored only 9 out of 68 points..whereas lebanese players of tadamon scored 14 out of 82.

In total foreigners scored 127 out of 150 points, whereas lebanese scored only 23.


Well done Mr Walid Nassar in adopting the 3 foreigner rule per team... you ruined lebanese basketball.
