Trademark suffocating defense by Iran. Haddadi went BEAST MODE for 18 points and 14 rebounds.

Korea, the #1 3pt shooting team in the tournament, is only 2-13 from 3 in this game.

congratulations to Iran, now focus on China so Gilas can meet you there at the finals.
A basketball team is like the five fingers on your hand. If you can get them all together, you have a fist. That's how I want you to play.

I hope Gilas could do something close to that against Lebanon. I'm really worried about our perimeter defense.

I think Blatche will give Haddadi a lesson.

The real tournament started today, good win overall, experienced guys finally played up to their reputation, but Afagh's injury made it bitter sad. still waiting for the reports but I think we lost him for next 2 games.

things could be much better if we had either Kazemi or Zangeneh, right now we have only 3 reliable big guys since Kardoust sucks. hats off to Oshin for his hard working, he was always my favorite player in this team.

btw I wonder why Jamshidi played only limited minutes today (garbage minutes actually) !!!

Either as punishment for playing bad during the preliminaries, or they're saving him for the China game.

I would've say the same, but his playing style (all brute under the rim type)and token minutes he is expected to suck. Asi Taulava even at 42 is our top big man we have (strong no. 3) is more than just an energy boost guy for our team as I wouldnt expect him to score more than 4 pts from now on close game or blowout it is..
To becomes Asia's Best, we need to compete against the World's Best..
                        1 Big 4 small > 5 out offense.

After paying taxes, Kim Tae-kyun maybe earns about $970,000 USD.
