  • [13th Place Game] Kuwait - Chinese Taipei

This game perhaps marks the final international game of Taiwanese ace player Lin Chih-Chieh.

What an amazing international journey it was for the Taiwanese Beast. He will be remembered as one of the best, if not THE best, swingman Taiwan has ever produced.

Liu Cheng is the future of Taiwanese basketball. Give him a good PG/C tandem around him and Taiwan will be tough to beat.

What a disappointing tournament this was for Taiwan!
My two adopted teams are Taiwan and the Philippines, I've gotta to see them play a lot and hoped that Taiwan would have a much better showing. The group of death got them though, they needed that Lebanon game.

Liu Cheng is the future, I love the kids game, even if it is very trick or treat!

I wish I had higher hopes for the basketball in this country, very few young players coming up as far I've seen. The few dudes in America don't really look like game changers. Size will also become an even bigger issue in the near future. Hopefully I am wrong and just not as informed as I should be!

People in Taiwan just don't geek out on ball as much as Filipinos so it harder to get a good idea of young players (and my reading of Chinese is shit, doesn't help)

Anyway, sad to see them go out like this, I expect a big time change for the next big rounds of international play for Taiwan.
