we have no inside game, we dont have rim protection. We might get somewhere, but we are not playing efficient and wise basketball. Live and die with the 3.

    celebrating game one win...

We are lacking chemistry and fitness. We started the game great then we lost the lead in the 2nd quarter. We regained the lead in the 3rd quarter then lost it again in the 4th quarter. I dont think we will see this much inconsistency in the upcoming games.

Good thing that we got a win today.. and yes I do believe the chemistry and teamwork of our players will improve as the tournament progresses... as well as getting to 100% conditioning...

I'm happy to see Jay playing at a good level.. cuz he wasn't practicing with our NT this summer and he wasn't playing any competitive basketball

Happy for the win, cause we were the better team over the full 4 quarters. But the comebacks by Taipei was a proof of how badly unprepared this team is.

With these level of competition. This is really a red flag but as long as youre winning and able to compesate it through the course of the tournament (with these tough bracket) 5 more competitive games.. tough task with therest of the field..
To becomes Asia's Best, we need to compete against the World's Best..
              1 Big 4 small > 5 out offense.

Congrats for the opening day win pareng Khalid. Philippines wasn't lucky yesterday :-(
"A king may move a man, a father may claim a son, but that man can also move himself, and only then does that man truly begin his own game. Remember that howsoever you are played or by whom, your soul is in your keeping alone, even though those who presume to play you be kings or men of power, when you stand before God, you cannot say, 'But I was told by others to do thus,' or that virtue was not convenient at the time. This will not suffice." - King Baldwin IV

I like Jay Youngblood. He's good, he's clutch, and he has that desire to play for your team I have never seen in any other naturalized player I have ever seen.

That sounds just like the Philippine team except we're very inconsistent with the 3.
