Second Round: Day 1 (Group F) - Jordan vs Philippines
I have a Strong feeling that our NASHAMA gonna Shine tomorrow as unexpected !
Jordan for a Win with +10 pts
Your asia-basket article is BS. What's your basis for saying Lutz and Lassiter as illegal players wherein in the first place, them being declared as ineligible by Fiba Asia was ILLEGAL!?
I understand you feel bad for the loss, but as a paid writer, you should be responsible enough to know all the sides of the story before writing one. Such an idiot!
Well, i can understand if he wasnt informed of FIBA's decisions beforehand, but if he had received the communication from Baumann prior to the game, then what does it imply? what is he trying to prove? what does it mean? im not trying to stir up something here..im just wondering why would he do that if the latter case is true
Ill give him the benefit of the doubt, because the other possibility really reeks of a bad stench and leaves a bad taste in the mouth
Yeah. But that wasn't always the case. The first time around, if I recall correctly he torched our all-PBA crew. (Because they weren't familiar with him yet)
In addition to your assessment, I think his game style also has something to do with it. He plays the game the way we do back home, so we're more familiar with the movement. We have a tougher time against great passing teams and quick shooters because we tend to forget assignments on switching off the ball. (Like you said, our Zone D fumbles from time to time)
Meanwhile, off the dribble guards like Wright, while good, we seem to be able to anticipate better. (This however, seems to only apply to guards.)
I have to complete agree..his playing style is similar to what Filipinos are used to playing..we can defend guards <china the exception because of size> better as 3 or 4 inches height difference in the perimeter doesn't matter much since we have the speed especially if you have a good defender like lassiter..
On the other hand we have difficult time against korea and japan <even though relatively we have about the same size> because they use quick passing games which we aren't used to back home. Plus the fact that they are lethal shooters from the outside makes them more dangerous opponents to us..<Coach T should have played more east asians teams too in that two year span of smart gilas..In my opinion he was focused more on the mid east teams>
Sheesh! Just focus on the game later. To those who are posting here and not trying to analyze other posters from other countries. Try to read their posts not only once or twice... READ THEM AS MANY AS YOU CAN.
Wow, We really never change.
Bara-barang sagot.

Poor understanding about a properly constructed analyzation.
That's why others won't take as seriously because of people like TO-WHOM-IT-MAY-CONCERN.
Rasheim wright always have a hard time playing against the philippines ever since..i dont know but maybe Filipino guards just are better defenders on the perimeter when it comes to one-on-one or lock down D..However our zone and transition D needs quite an overhaul..or maybe the philippines is just his 'kontra-pelo" <jinx>

where's marcus douhit that time? if you don't include douhit yeah, probably we will not but with the PBA players, any given day with proper training and system..what do you think?
possible pre but we were beaten big that time and Gilas has been there for a year now and we have the best Filipino front court to represent us
Kelly and Asi..
but absolutely we will not beat that team without the big three anytime
