Last night the Lebanese started insults the first.
After the match I was thinking about coming here to agree to Lebanese' feelings like 'It's an unfair game' 'the ending was ridiculous' but what I saw was pure personal insults and insults toward my people and my country. I didn't respond in the same way but I was some how offensive also.
What I'm trying to make clear was that both of us Lebanese and Chinese watch the game using our eyes on our faces which belong to human bodies, none of us is evil creatures that is born to deny the truth and harm the weak and unfortunate

I understand that people are angry, and that emotions run high during these times. Just think about what you say, and keep the other side in mind when you type it. Forget all the "I told you so," the unnecessary boasting, the poor sportsmanship, and blind nationalism.
Interbasket is here to bring basketball fans together from around the world, not to separate them. So, are you furthering the discussion with your post/thread or just trying to antagonize a person or group of people? Keep it cool and at a high-level, ok?

Agreed to that Stuart... some even keep posting multiple threads of the same topics... new threads are started without even checking out the forum if the said topic was already started or not...

There is so much tension on these boards so rather than try to flame each other and say China thisd and that and their "fenqing" (lit. angry youth) come here and start flaming and going all Maoists and shit, and then the Middle Easterners come here and get all angry and flame and say things like "Allah ahbar" or whatever everyone chill
no need to get so angry
Here I will help you guys ease the tension down, but you must follow my instructions very carefully and you guys can sign this amazing peace accord that has been sanctioned not only by me but by interbasket as well so peace my quell these times of disturbance.
I'm going to tell you a moral to what is really happening now, and so all of us can look at ourselves in the mirror and say wow "we are not better or worse, we are all humans and have our pros and cons; our weaknesses...but if we work hard we can udnerstand each other and be better comnpassionate people. After all compassion is what this world needs as well as laughter drinks, women, and the love for brotherhood and what I mean by brotherhood is more of a fraternal meaning not literally brotherly love int he sense that I anally rape my brother or fellow man to show my love and understanbding for each other. No what I am meaning is that I can look you in the eyes and say I love you man but not in a gay way but in a man way to see respect, the diea of admiring each other to respect each other."
The next time you guys get angry at China and its players what I want you to do is immediately buy some take out chinese food or go to a Chinese restaurant eat the food, and say "This chinese food is amazing, this food is great i love the person who cooked this, its symbolism is the diea of friendship and caring by making my stomach full even though the chinese boss is saying "no substitutions!" thats the spirit the idea that you can go eat freely my fellow ibners and say "wow, this is good, now there might be too much msg/salt but u know what no one is perfect and overall i still can swallow this food which symbolizes my happiness and pride; never perfect but still good, i can respect this and the other people who are sitting next to me and enjoying their fine 5 dollars meal from Panda King restaurant.
For the Chinese in hear dont get so angry relax, you know you have to realize and be a better person by giving face. giving face here is to show your love and warmth to the world to the community to make everyone know that this world is a "harmonious society" do not break the cycle of this harmony as the slogan of last year said "同一个世界同一个梦想“ <-- one wortld one dream. this world, thios dream is the idea of harmony friendship. yes it is not perfect but the more u can be patient and respect each other while hsaring cultuer and views even though there may be differences the more we can know each other. remember the time many people from around the world ran with the torch, that is the symbolism of what we want in ibn that altohugh there may be ritos and protests and disagreements the majority of the world can look at it as a signm, a symbol of [eace and friendship with each other. just like when my gf ran with the olympic torch last year many praised her and many peopek said she is the symbol of love and the opening of s commnity tot he rest of the world by showing caring, kindness, and not hostility of us vs them but that we are part of the world community. As theodore roosevelt once said "Speak softly, but carry a big stick" This speak softly means to be humble, to not attack each other or others right away, and cary a big stick here is the diea that the olympic torch symbolizes friendship and meaningness tot he idea of the spirit of sports and athletics in a professional manner.
Which also brings me to another story of what happened to someone i knew who knew someone that they knew and they knew someone that occured to them indirectly however it finally happened to what someone knew who someone knew and knew to someone who knew this person that occured to them to teach the moral of the story. So the story goes as this, this person (I will make him anonymous so as to no reveal anyone's identity in these boards so we shall make him random at most but msotly anonymous and not to be mentioned his name, however we shall call him "K" jnust to shorten this person's name and prtoerct his identity). This person,K, and I went one time to arestaurant to eat. now this restaurant is a known place in my area and late nights the party and the fine dinging can occur due to the gact that many people are eating, drinking fine wines and there are manby beautiful people who come here to enjoy and to be spotted by others, i am one of these beautiful people. so as the night lingered one after rounds of meals, plate after plate, fine dining after fine cuisine, bottles of wine followed by other appertifs and then leading to fine xognacs and bandy to finish the night off. We had stumbled a fine lady in which we treated her to some fine glasses of wine sow e could enjoy the company of a fine and ladylike person, not only her but her friends as well. However this lady of grace, elegance, was not to be mettled with if any form of faux pas were to occur not only would this be rude to her but would show that neither he or i had any form of chivalry or manners that would bequeath the ideals of western civilization and the ideals of proper dining with someone so fine and lavishly praised as her. For the sake of making this story shorter, and less ambigious we shal call this lady of fine beauty, elegance, and grace that we were so intuned to as "Ms. Foxhorn" the same name as the bottle of wine i am drinking now as I am writing and reminiscing about this time so as I can show a story with a moral. As the time started to pass by this lady was actually not only courted by my fine presence and my friend "K" for a rather ambigiious after party in his vehicle or which may lead to the thrones of what we may call the bed chamber. , but other fine gentlemen of fine stock were also in the place. As my friend K went to get another bottle of fine bubbly or as what we call or sometimes refer to as champagne, another person had cut the line or made way for the que, i am sorry and apologize if i spelled the word que improperly could someone lease correct my spelling if any are wrong. Now we shall call this person who committed and act of fallacy but a challenge to my dfriend "K's" fine gentlemenly stock, as Mr. Romano Pecorino, or pecorino romano whichever you prefer. My friend K prompted by what he had noticed immediately requested and inquired as to what act he had pursued in sucha quest that may lead to a verbal arguments, even perhaps a duel of sorts in such that Aaron Burr and Anthony hamilton did in what we considered an important part but not too important part of american history.
As the story goes on K and Mr Romano Pecorino or pecorino Romano whichever you rpefer started to have averbal argument in who could take the trophy, however they knew that by arguing none could tak her home however at this point it was too late so rather than the fine lady of being bedded and courted in the arms of fine stock then it would be at arms and pandemonoium would occur. so the moral of the styory is that rguing will not win anyone or make anyone victor of such petty times or form s of actions.
The conclusion of the story is that I drank countless bottles of wine and decided to write this story so as to serve as a basis, a foundation if you will for future generations to not argue or act in petty forms of nonsense. I hope you all learned a valuable lesson

I encourage everyone to keep the level of discussion up.
