ya yesterdays game was a killer for leb mentaly and psysicly .....i dont get get how jordans game yesterday was 24 hrs apart from their game 2day and lebanons game was only 14 hrs apart ....couldnt they atleast be after each other ......but 1 thing for sure is that Jordan wanted it more 2day ...aside from the first quarter leb had a very bad game....so congrats for jordan for being the second arab asian country to play at the world cup i dont really wanna count the all african qatari team...lebanon was at the WBC in 2002 and 2006 and hopefully but probably not get a wild card ...in any case this wasnt even close to the heartbreaker of 2007 so leb should look forward and prepare for 2011
I remember before this tournament, you are all bragging about them. And now it's otherwise.
Don't worry my Lebanese friends, you deserve a wild card slot but it's harder opponents out there.
I wasn't to be honest. But i have to admit, had we won, i think i would've kept my mouth shot. I don't know, maybe this defeat is a blessing in disguise.
Anyway, aren't there worthier teams for the wild card?
lebanese friends hatts off for your team...i swear that your team should'v won this asian cup..after last night performance...today's game doesnt reflect anything...lebanese players were affected by that stupid call from that Ref...irfa3o raskon ...nothing to be ashamed off...plus iam sure u will get a wild card...we will stay always brothers and this game wont change our feelings to each other.....next time lebanon will win asian cup by gods well
First, Congrats for Jordan! you really deserve it! i think since i live in Amman for a year now, i have to be happy for you as well
---------------------------------
As for us, i think the FED should get immediately behind closed doors & find a solution of what's happening!
If only we paid more attention to our local talents, and scouted within Lebanon (Local leagues, local games, school leagues, county leagues...) and much much more, we all know that every day there is a game going somewhere in Lebanon that has 10 players on the court!
Me myself, i know someone that plays in my home town, and he's 2.17cm (21 Y/O only) with a great 3 pts shooting skill, but the guy doesnt play for Riyadi, muttahed or any other team...does it mean we shouldnt pay attention to such talents?
Anyways, i really wish that the FED would get caughter back to the team with a 2 years building plan. I don't think Freije should leave, but in my own opinion, its about time to start looking for a new team captain!
Hard luck in 2011 & i hope we will get a space through the wild card!
At least it's not yet over for your team. You'll probably get the wild card tournament invites. Your team deserves that! Much respect on your team. At least you have reach this far on this tournament! Jordan just shows how bad they wanted this game! Next year.. Asian Games........
hard luck guyz.
i think jordan deserve it cuz they fought for it so congratz jordan, it's a rainy day for lebanon but tomorrow we'll be back and belive me we'll be stronger then ever no 1 will stop us even this stupid uzbeki referee who coasted us that game but eventually god wells it so don't be sad guyz and keep ur head up u r lebanese

gooo lebanon goooooooooooooooooooooooooo
thanks man ,RESPECT !
u deserve to be in the wc and u got it !!
Good luck in turkey
Congrats for Jordanians they really deserved the win more than we did. all we played was 5 min and then we gave up the game too bad after that great performance of yesterday we came out so lazy and lacking the spirit of winning.....
i don't understand all the pessimism...JV and MF are still young, Fahed is not that old, Fadi has been a nonfactor anyway, get another servicable wing, it's still a fairly good team in asia, no

We deserve wild card but i don't think fiba will ever give us .........
we had very bad luck today
i'am happy for jordan they deserve it....
i knew before the match that we won't win cuz in the game against china we gave every thing we have and referee's mistakes made us lose in the last 50 seconds.....
GD Luck for next time.. but iam very afraid on the future of basketball in Lebanon...I hate politics it's going to let us lose the only thing(basketball) that made us happy in the last 10 years......:S:S:S
