First, Congrats for Jordan! you really deserve it! i think since i live in Amman for a year now, i have to be happy for you as well
    ---------------------------------
As for us, i think the FED should get immediately behind closed doors & find a solution of what's happening!
If only we paid more attention to our local talents, and scouted within Lebanon (Local leagues, local games, school leagues, county leagues...) and much much more, we all know that every day there is a game going somewhere in Lebanon that has 10 players on the court!
Me myself, i know someone that plays in my home town, and he's 2.17cm (21 Y/O only) with a great 3 pts shooting skill, but the guy doesnt play for Riyadi, muttahed or any other team...does it mean we shouldnt pay attention to such talents?
Anyways, i really wish that the FED would get caughter back to the team with a 2 years building plan. I don't think Freije should leave, but in my own opinion, its about time to start looking for a new team captain!
Hard luck in 2011 & i hope we will get a space through the wild card!

Don't worry my Lebanese friends, you deserve a wild card slot but it's harder opponents out there.
I wasn't to be honest. But i have to admit, had we won, i think i would've kept my mouth shot. I don't know, maybe this defeat is a blessing in disguise.

Anyway, aren't there worthier teams for the wild card?

I'm really wondering where this leaves Lebanese basketball. I'm worried and extremely disappointed.
well me too i am wondering if we will keep the same level of basketball in those next few years or the golden era in the lebanese basketball will be over.
we lost the qualification card yesterday when we gave everything for the win and we failed. today the team couldnt play more then 1 quarter. anyway i am happy for jordan its their first time that they qualify to the wc hope they do well and send a good asian image to the world.

the difference maker is coach.. Raca got outplayed by Palma in all three games against Jordan this summer..

    Congrats to Jordan..

Lebanon just didnt have enough power to win this game.. we really should have used our bench more tonight... anyway it is useless now..

Some good luck for jordan on a few balls.. but that not why lebanon lost..

Friejie should have stayed on the bench and ali kaanan should have stayed in..

Simply.. Jordanians wanted this more and they got it..
