Steroids are illegal, but giving a foreigner the local papers it's not a crime plus it's included in FIBA's rules (read it).
Not the same logic at all!

my prediction for top 3 is China, Iran, Lebanon in that order... sorry Jordan..

If Iran faced Lebanon that wouldve given lebanon a shot in the finals, but unfortunately theyre matched up against china, and it will be tough for them to advance.

either way its going to be tough. I like the chances of all 4 teams, I think all 4 deserves a spot at the FIBA World Championships
jordan/iran both have 50-50 chance of winning , if mehdi isnot playing and if samad isnt playing either -or playing injured we have a more chance
75-25..samad is the best scorer and mehdi is the main PG and the 3rd option
    after Samad and hamed.

China with Yao can easily crush you by 20+ margin, and you are not far from us.

China always get beaten by the top teams of world easily by 30 margin(greece,usa,lituanian,etc...)
But against europe 2-tier teams China can always have a fight with them(Italy,Slovenia in 2006,German in 2008)..

BTW:China used to lose to the likes of Yugoslav by 60+..But that's more than 10 years ago...

And you follow basketball so well that you even don't know China quit from the U18 ABC in 2008...
i live in serbia man, *ex yugoslavia* i follow the european basket more than the asian one (unless my senior team is playing),plus i told u once we middle eastern ppl dont care much about the youth teams **by that i mean fans** not the federations, senior teams in all sports gets the attention always. we measure the sucsess in our sports with our senior teams thats how it goes in the meddile east what can u do about it?

As you say english is the second offcial language. Then maybe this question is more accuracy:Can all the locals speak Arabic?
u mean the players? yes of course man ,but as i said the coach speaks in english rashiem speaks only english so thats why they use it on court.

From what I see you don't follow basketball closely and I think you should think carefully before writing such things.

Naturalization is a good thing for Asian basketball. This is basketball not politics and basketball needs good players. As long as a player only plays for one team, I am all for it. Every country can naturalize one player per FIBA rule so what is the problem? I understand that many country don't want to do it and that's fine too; there is no point in bringing this up every time. I much rather want to see Vroman and Freije giving China a good fight than 88-point blowouts

As far as nationalities go, not all nations have the same laws and standards. Even as far as China goes, in the 1950s and 1960s, almost all players in the People's Republic of China basketball team are ethnic Chinese people from Philippines or Indonesia. So please understand each other. Lebanon has had a turbulent history in recent decades and understandably many Lebanese are born outside of Lebanon. Philippines and Jordan have many people leaving their countries and immigrate to America. Qatar is a tiny country with big resources so even their demographics have a lot of immigrants and foreign workers, so what is the problem of having some players who originated from Sudan but live their lives out in Qatar?

But Jordan?I seriously think if not for nationalized ones, the likes of PHI is better than them...And damn,it's a county where basketball is not popular .....

BTW:it doesn't make you feel good when you hear the players use English instead of Arabic to communicate on the court....
