well i guess it is not difficult at all to beat china, we bearly done it in china a couple of yours ago, and we lost the final against them, and everybody has seen the amount of violence that happened there!
our team this year is much more better than the previous one, and beating china is not that difficult!
it is true we crashed UAE by 70 points, and indonesia by 87 points, and that those 2 teams are not that hard to defeat, but china also had very easy games, and thus we have the strongest offence and the strongest deffense!
don't underestimate the lebanese team, having the silver medal in 3 consecutive fiba asia championship is not a coincidence!

and for the chinese i say:
remember that china is not a match to FRANCE! we beat FRANCE in the world championship!!!! and you are next!

exactly, that's how we should enter the game.Always we used to enter the game against China with nothing in our minds except that we will loose and we should loose by less than 20.So i think now it is the time to change this mentality and enter in winning spirit.Also if we dont win over China this championship, we'll never do.

Let me share my prediction on this exciting game too. China will win but will be exposed especially if their big men will get into early foul trouble. Lebanon have to hit their outside shots to keep the game closer.

Lebanon's got reinforcement inside the paint with Vroman, Faris and Freije but team's cohesion will decide the game...I expect China to win by 10 points or less.

Without Yao,maybe.But with Yao China and France are on the same level...The likes of German and Slovenia are not weaker than France,We beat them both...


And the last time China meet France is in 2000 Olymics,we nearly won(lead 10 in the 4th quarter),but one 3 point shooter from France killed us...And that's the only time China didn't get into TOP 8 in the Olympics since 1996.

doomsday? on 2011 smart gilas,if given the perfect recruitment of players(i mean if PBA wont interfere with the prospect's basketball path)..,will make it hard for china,lebanon,iran,or even jordan..but still only one slot is available for asia on 2011 qualifiers so every game will be death match..

imagine giles,fajardo,al hussaini,japeth inside and lutz,ramos,barroca,ababou,tiu,etc and maybe PBA might lend kelly williams,eman(for reserve if somebody got injured),jonas..thats a very dangerous force!

Ok for Freije. But only Jackson Vroman played for Lebanon for lessthan 2 years residence and ineligible to play for this years as naturalized! The International sports rule is if naturalize player residence in a country for playing in country. Like Philippine team in 1983 has forfeited because Jeff Moore and Dennis Still had played elimination even won or lost then ended up classification round. They played for lessthan 2 years residence in the Philippines. They had been cleared in 1985-86.

What's the biggest hurdle on beating China?It's your MIND coz' nobody is believing here we can beat China.The game has not started yet and you are already on the losing ground.

China's best players:
Yao - best center in ASIA - legit NBA star - but not playing now
Yi - NBA experienced - but is he the best?
Wang - NBA experienced - NBA rejects now
Sun Yue - NBA experienced - hmmmnn...more of a mistake signing in the NBA
but good enough for marketing purposes

On the positive note: China believes that they are the most dominant team in ASIA that made them the best.
While the rest of asian teams: on the negative side for 3 decades now believing they can't beat China.
