i think this could be the worst Japanese NT in years. cause they are not sending their best players for this tournament due to some internal problem(JBL and BJ League) even their naturalize player doesnt want to play for this team (JR Sakuragi). while their best players are busy dreaming bout the NBA and didnt join the team (Takuya Kawamura and Tabuse) then a month before the Fiba Championship their original head coach resigned (David Hobbs). so i hope team Pilipinas will beat them up. if we lose against Japan then i asume that this is the worst Team Pilipinas ever assembled in years...

Even without James Yap. I think Sri Lanka is same level of Vietnam or Brunei NT, they can't beat Malaysia, India or Singapore.
Btw,
Philippine NT is still lack of shooting skills. What happen to Coach Yeng Guiao to teaching them their shooting skills. How about playing defense must be more improve for preparation against Japan and Korea. They shot attempt has most of wide-open could not got always, they like might be losing their shooting skills to other Filipino young kids.
