I think, by blood, Gabe Norwood is 50% pinoy and 50% american. Both of his grandparents (mother's side) are 100% filipinos by blood which makes his mother a pure blooded filipina. I've read it from articles after Gabe joined RP in their practice in the US. (Im too lazy to search and paste it here)
    Oh come on, mamon!

I remember that article. I think it said that his mother was already an american citizen so the only way to claim dual citizenship is through his grandparents. i'm not sure though if both grandparents were filipinos, but definitely at least one was

yes that's true! even Norwood doesn't know where Philippines was, joke, he only knew his grandpa or grandma (*or both) came from Pangasinan.
It's ironic to see limited efforts from players with maximum salary.
I wish they would apply "sabermetrics" in those financially challenged PBA teams to acquire players who are value for their money.

                      • Daniel Sandrin's basketball background is not really impressive. A product of Seattle Pacific University, a US NCAA Division II team. . . He also played as an import in Luxemburg pro leagues. . . i think RP's Gabe Norwood have much better US collegiate records and undoubtly a better player than Sandrin. . .

He was one of the reasons why the Kazakhs are able to kick RP's butt that prevented us from taking 2nd place in the Jones Cup.... I think he's one of their "secret" aces...
I think you are referring to Rustam Yargaliyev, a 6'5" swingman who topscored for Kazakhstan's win against RP. . . He scored 28 points in that game while Ponomarev has 23 points. . . Yeah, Yargaliyev is also a player to watch indeed. . .
