KG Canaleta is already out of Coach Chot's Training Pool as soon as they arrived from the Jones Cup prior to the Manila Invitational tournament.
both Norwood and Williams are expected to be shoo-ins already.

To becomes Asia's Best, we need to compete against the World's Best..
1 Big 4 small > 5 out offense.
Here is my list of players to watch out for in the FIBA Asia Championships:
TAIWAN
1. Tien Lei (currently training with the Sacramento Kings rookie camp)
2. Tsun Wen Din
3. Lin Chi Jay
4. Wu Dai Hao
JAPAN
1. Takehiko Orimo (shoots like Caidic)
2. Ryota Sakurai
3. Kei Igarashi (plays like Caguioa)
4. Takeuchi Twins (6'10 and 6'9 forwards with great range)
5. Ken Sako (great PG)
6. Kenny Henderson
7. Yuta Tabuse (first japanese to make it to the NBA(?) which i think would not be included in their line-up)
Taiwan's Tien Lei will miss the Tokushima tournament due to injury to his right thumb and has stress fracture in his left leg.
Japan's JR Henderson (not Kenny) is now known as JR Sakuragi. Yuta will not joined the Japanese NT in Tokushima.

too bad for Tien Lei..who is he again?
It's ironic to see limited efforts from players with maximum salary. I wish they would apply "sabermetrics" in those financially challenged PBA teams to acquire players who are value for their money.
tien lei's absence is the biggest break for syria...
with him playing for CT, there's no way syria can be number 2 in their group
there's a big possibility that Syria will end up as number 1 in their group. since Korea is also missing some key players as well. but lets wait and see
6'8 guy tried out for sacramento camp then you know the story he plays like Danny Seigle (daw ha daw). The way i see it he's a small forward who loves to shoot outside limited post up moves, but he's Taiwan's NT leading scorer ( takot mabalya )
PRO DEO ET PATRIA (in the service of God and Country)

South Korea they're up to something they didn't play their true form in Jones Cup

although, he can shoot beyond the arc, his lethal weapon is his mid-range jumper, like DS. he can play both forward position, like DS. in fact in Doha Games, he is their team's top rebounder with almost 10 rebounds per game. So its a very big loss for CT team.
