The freakin technical foul slapped on the RP bench killed the game for RP. Iran was just ahead by 1 point with clock winding then came the stupid Technical foul slapped on Philippine bench which resulted to 2 free throws plus ball possession for Iran, I couldn't believe my eyes.
I'm proud of them eventhough our team lose they put up a hell of 4rth quarter. Raymundo played great. It shows the fighting heart and courage of the Filipinos

it's just the breaks of the game, iran played well in the 1st and 3rd quarter. while the RP starters played so slappy in offense and defense. it's the second stringers that give hope to RP, plus the injuries on seigle, asi, and jimmy. and the fouling out of dondon, norwood, and caguiao. not to mention that freaking technical foul slap by the referees on RP bench. it's just not this lost is a wake up call for the Philippines, the game tomorrow is a must win situation. they just have to believe that they can do it...that's what kerby showed today. he never give up, thus showing the heart of a Filipino. hope this lost gives them the motivation and remember that they already gave so many sacrifices for them to give up now. the Filipino people is counting on all of you, never give up and believe!!!
i just hope jordan will beat this iranian team tomorrow.

Nah.. lets hope Iran beat Jordan. then RP beat China and Jordan so we are sure of a 2nd place.

Iran MUST beat Jordan to avoid a possible triple tie at 2-1 by Jordan, RP and Iran. Iran then must beat China and RP wins thier last 2 assignments. I dont like the idea of the quotient system because Team Pilipinas wins on close games.
IRAN 3-0
RP 2-1
JOR 1-2
CHN 0-3
I believe this is the best possible scenario for Team Pilipinas to advance to the next round.
it was really an OFF for the team. i dunno if someone put spells on our team cus heck, lotsa shots getting in went out(count those, story wuda changed). that was really weird. weird as f*ck damnit!! i cudnt imagine Seigle, Mark C, Norwood, Honti malfunctioning. we had a lot of TOs as if the ball had grease. another blackeye is the injury of Asi. i dunno if alapag and seigle have one too. Wtf is this day for our team? i guess the father of all bad breaks visited the team earlier.
thank Pennisi, Kerby, and jimmy who were fighting hard tho the team was wounded.we cuda saved ourselves but damn! i sh!t my pants when that Technical foul was called(i think even Quinitio.lol. he was rle freakin out); it killed the momentum. =(
anyhow, remember Lebanon's opening day in Manila Invtnls??they lost. they got into finals tho. there's still life RP! we're still breathing!!

it was really a freaking game for RP team
everybody was so tense and tentative
it seemed that we're not mentally prepared
im also surprised seigle wasnt effective
i think coach chot should have let seigle post-up on offense more often
chot has his share for this crazy thing
here's my observations:
1) coach reyes has a horrible rotation of players
why did reyes benched kelly williams for a long time?
i think williams was summoned back into the court only until asi got injured in the 4th quarter
he's very good for the team
he's aggressive, a hustle player and a high flyer
next, when alapag got injured in crunchtime, he replaced him with renren ritualo which i already think was very wrong bec. that guy cant play defense, period. here's what happened during his stint on the court:
he was late in the defensive rotation that cause us a 3 pointer by iran
then he gave up 2 useless fouls that kills the momentum of the team
sending iranians in the line to shoot free-throws instead of executing their offense in a pressure-packed situation
i think hontiveros should be there instead of ritualo since hontiveros plays defense, can shoot 3's, and provides leadership
2) but all in all, what cause us the game is the STUPIDITY of coach reyes
in that crucial situation, you would not expect the coach to be the one to lose his cool
his stupidity cause us the game and the golden oppurtunity to get to the olympics
now, we need iran to finished undefeated
and try to beat china and jordan
it gets harder for us now

if we lost tomorrow to china, there's still a possibility of a triple tie with 3 teams having identical 1-2 records
This is a very young and very weak Chinese Team B but it does have height and is dependent on it not skills or experience. I see Team B losing to Iran because the height differential is not so great. But beating the Philippines because of the massive height advantage.

So this is the final standings:
Jordan 3-0
Iran 2-1
China 1-2
RP 0-3
base on my mathematical analysis it has 70% probability..

dude i dont agree with no.2 refs dont call technical foul outright unless its reasonable. chot just complained just like any other coaches. it would be understandable if a player is the one who complains.
