The two brazilian/syrians of Al Jalaa Aleppo club Eduardo Caviglia (196-G/F-80, college: W.Texas A&M) and Marcelo Correa had joined the trainings of Syria National Team which are being held daily in Al Faihaa' court in Damascus, Syria under the command of the new head coach American John Sneed.
The other brazilain/syrian 'Dede' Barbosa cannot play with Syria after he played with Brazil National Team in Copa America 2004 in Venzuela, Al Ittihad Aleppo's duo Firas El Masri and Salah Shawa apologised from continueing with the NT due to some personal reasons.

Source:www.asia-basket.comIt's ironic to see limited efforts from players with maximum salary.
I wish they would apply "sabermetrics" in those financially challenged PBA teams to acquire players who are value for their money.

on a graphical design's point of view, that's a cool wallpaper..but the imperial Japanese flag don't sit well with other countries. I know it's just a design, but the WWII era flag may offend,..err...will offend countries like China, Korea and for those Filipinos who know their history, the Philippines<--- science always wins over bullshit --->

I think the Kamikaze flag theme was also used in the 2006 World Championships wallpapers.
