        • Tough group for the Philippines, but I still believe we are more than capable of winning against our groupmates. I hope we do well.

By the way, was it the NT of Iran that the RP National Training pool beat twice in 2005?

well, we cant do anything about it man. thats the bad thing about it. even i, was surprised to see the final draw. i mean, for me, i would rather have RP play japan, uae and india in the prelims. no sweat.

            • now it will be better to discuss the strengths and weaknesses of Iran and Jordan than to discuss our own

let Chot Reyes and the whole RP team do their job, we should trust them

and let us expose and analyze how to beat Iran and Jordan

man, the weakness of jordan, is perhaps their source of strenght. their naturalized player rasheim wright. over and over again, he impresses all scouts from asia. bad thing for jordan and rasheim wright, take him out, and jordan will fall.

                    • With the groupings for Asian Championship finalized who are at an advantage? What the strenghts and weaknesses of each team against those in their group?

                      • My fearless forecast: China's team B won't make it past group A. Those Chinese youngsters minus their Big Brothers from team A will be outmuscled and outhustled by the Philippines and the two WABA teams, Iran and Jordan.

                            • Based on the link provided by ctongco, then wizard is right: Iran and Jordan should not be in the same group.

From the link: "The teams were grouped first into four pots, each member of the pot is guaranteed not to face each other in the preliminary round;"

And: Pot B has the 4 teams: Iran, Saudi Arabia, Jordan & Chinese Taipei

                              So, what gives?
