That CBA star on the rise is Ahmed Mian of the TianJin Golden Lions.

Through one tough years in the league, Mian has become one of the most polarizing figures the game has to offer. The 19-year-old has displayed elite scoring ability, as evidenced by his 16.6 points per game during the 2011-12 CBA season. He's also dazzled with his ability to distribute the basketball, averaging over eight assists per game.

Unfortunately for Mian the season was limited after breakign his ankle.

During the 2011-12 CBA season, Mian led all pure point guards in scoring by putting up 16.6 points per contest. Should Mian continue his career pattern of improving his scoring and field goal percentage with each passing year, it's hard to imagine but for him he has different plans while still finishing his college degree.

All that leaves for Mian is a choice to well focus on becoming a star or deciding to pursue something else.

For those who doubt Mian's ability to achieve such a feat, keep in mind how slow some point guards start. Being so young.

The one thing he has not found, however, is consistency.

This past summer, Mian again went to USA. This time around, however, he was surrounded with talent that exceeds the label of elite.

As a result, at least one member of the TianJin will receive high praise and league MVP recognition. After weighing all the aforementioned factors, that man will be Ahmed Mian If the work, time, and heart is there.

No one knows the rules about imports of CBA next session, maybe it will be confirmed on September.
However, there are some rumours said that CBA will cancel the special slots for asian imports , the asian imports will compete with US imports

Hard to tell, but Marbury and the Ducks are odds on favorites to seal it in game five. I predicted the Ducks to win the series in six games. Now in Guangdong, odds are against them and history as well.

Game 5 is a must watch.

Do you think Marbury and Beijing wrap up the series on Friday?

Or does Guandong find a way to win Game 5?

Game 4 later on. This is a pivotal one as Guandong aims to tie the series while Beijing will try to bounce back and take a commanding 3-1 lead.

This whole affair is quite entertaining. I for one enjoy Marbury going head to head with Brooks.

Haislip is what you call a bruiser. Loves to play inside and get rough on rebounds. In his early years, he used to be a Udonis Haslem type of player, athletic and hustles. I am not sure if he lost weight over the years or developed a credible jumpshot.

But one thing I liked about him during his NCAA days was his physicality and his post defense. Lateral movement and prone to turnovers were his weakness back then.
