All are amateur players with no professional experience. Huang, Zeng, Xiao and another player were national 3x3 champion, all from Mayong Town, Dongguan City, Guangdong Province. When the 4th player got injured, Chen Gong (from the national 3rd place team) replaced him.

The Chinese women's 3x3 team are all professional WCBA players (in fact, all are above average players not good enough for the NT).
