MVP talks starting to heat up. Dacin's Chou Yi-Hsiang has the statistical edge and currently, Dacin is top of the league. Yu Huan-Ya is the sentimental favorite and to his merit, him being healthy with his energetic offense creation has pushed Taiwan Beer to being second to Dacin; being only 2 games behind for the top record.

League and fan votes do count and this is where Yu's case has an incredible mythos; spoken in the lineage of TB franchise's greats from Wen-Ting, Chih-Chieh and Liu Cheng.

I am fond of both guys, but Chou has this tendency to dribble smack into two defenders, only to pull up with an off-balance jumpshot.

Teams aren't regional, all are corporate teams with most games played in Taipei.

The potential of Yulon making it back to the SBL finals would be a dream for many and purists alike, it's like them getting back into their dynastic form during the days of Chen Hsin-An. With the current squad, Lu Cheng-Ju's loyalty to the franchise is a just reward if he wins the championship with his squad.

Down 0-3, we are looking at the likely end of the Pauian dynasty. Their 2-3 zone combination is easily nullified by Dacin's dribble drive offense as Dacin is the worst matchup for the ageing club. If Dacin advances to the finals, it will be their return after their last appearance in 2013.
