  • Dirty Politics/Tactics in Asian Sports

Korea stopping Blatche to play in the Asian games is just one of the many examples.

Any other similar incident/stories in the past?

Alleged food poisoning in the SEA games, etc?

    Does this count?

This is not the first time that the national basketball team has experienced such incident, as the country also lost some naturalized players when they were deemed ineligible in an Olympic qualifying tournament in 1983.

Naturalized players Jeff Moore and Dennis Still, tasked to bolster the Northern Consolidated-backed Philippine squad, were then not allowed to play midway through the tournament.

“It happened to us before,” Franz Pumaren, member of that national team that played in Hong Kong, told InterAksyon.com in a telephone interview.

“Ang masakit, andun na kami sa Hong Kong nung sinabi ng organizers na ineligible sina Moore and Still. Pinalaro muna kami tapos nung naipanalo na yung tatlong laro, biglang sinabi na hindi sila eligible.”

Because of the eligibility issues, the Philippines’ first three wins were forfeited and the Filipinos missed the opportunity of qualifying for the 1984 Los Angeles Olympics.

Ten candles stand burning in a dining room. A strong breeze blows
in through an open window and extinguishes two of them. Checking
back in on the candles later, you see that one more candle has gone
out, you shut the window. Assuming the wind doesn't extinguish any
more candles, how many candles do you have left in the end?

My word: it's still EQUAL game!!!there is no way that this tactic is described as any word like "dirty". This actually made the game pretty equal without any non-asian players.

DON'T be COWARD, and afraid of real ASIAN games. Because you philipines are so coward and afraid of so many fiasco games bullied by teams of asian. So try to forget to pull your american daddy here, remember this is asia.
